About YK Technologies

YK Technologies (Yenikapi BV) is a Belgian, founder-led technology partner that builds the software a company runs on: one open-source platform, owned by the client, on EU cloud, built in waves with a go or no-go at each step.

YK Technologies replaces a landscape of separate licences and scattered infrastructure with one platform that the client owns. The code sits in the client's repository from day 1, on a standard open-source stack, with no vendor lock-in.

The approach is deliberately phased. Each build wave ends in a go or a no-go, so the client can adjust or stop at any point. The company typically starts with an audit of cost, process or security, and optimises the process first before any software is involved.

YK Technologies focuses on the Belgian mid-market and speaks to four teams: leadership, IT, operations and finance. The company is based in Ghent.

Founder

Berkan Alci

Founder, YK Technologies

Berkan Alci is the founder of YK Technologies (Yenikapi BV) in Ghent. He works with a small, focused team and applies AI where it pays off, to give companies back control of their IT and lower their run rate.

His starting point is that most companies are stuck: on licences, contractors, freelancers and sprawling IT teams that keep an outdated enterprise landscape running. Alci works as an all-rounder who oversees architecture, finance and operations at once, draws up the right architecture and also has it carried out.

YK Technologies builds on open source. The code sits in the client's repository from day 1, without licences and without lock-in.

Use the logo with enough whitespace and do not change its proportions. For a dark background there is a white version.
