Cloud migration

Cloud migration to EU cloud: Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp

Scattered infrastructure, servers in different places and disconnected SaaS make management expensive and risks invisible. We migrate to one EU cloud in your ownership, in waves, with a go/no-go per wave. Data sovereignty, NIS2-level security and no unnecessary hyperscaler lock-in.

01Cloud migration

What cloud migration means with us

One EU cloud, in your ownership, with security built in from the first wave.

01

Away from scattered infrastructure

Servers in the office, VMs at a hosting provider and disconnected SaaS: we bring it together in one EU cloud with one management model.

02

Data sovereignty in the EU

Your data sits in the EU, under European law. You know where it is and who can access it.

03

NIS2-level security

SSO, MFA, backups and an audit trail from the first wave, not as an afterthought.

04

No unnecessary lock-in

Open source where possible, a portable setup. You can switch cloud later without rebuilding everything.

05

In your ownership

Code and configuration sit in your own repository from day 1. No per-user licences.

03Services

How we migrate: in waves, with gates

01

Wave 0: inventory

We map your servers, applications and dependencies with an IT FinOps audit. You know what can go, what has to come along and what it costs.

02

Wave 1: landing zone

We build the EU cloud landing zone and migrate a first, well-defined workload. Proof in production before the rest follows.

03

Go/no-go per wave

At the end of every wave you decide: on to the next or stop. No big bang and no surprises.

04

Handover and ownership

Code, configuration and documentation sit in your own repository. You do not depend on us to carry on.

04FAQ

Questions about cloud migration

Short and concrete, as you would put them to a partner.

What is cloud migration to an EU cloud?

It means moving your infrastructure to one cloud with data centres in the EU, under European law. Scattered servers and disconnected SaaS become one environment that you own yourself, with SSO, MFA and backups built in.

Why move away from hyperscaler lock-in?

Because lock-in makes you expensive and dependent. We choose open source where possible and a portable setup, so you can switch cloud later without rebuilding everything.

In which cities does YK Technologies work?

We work across Belgium and are based in Ghent ourselves, with separate tracks for Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp. Every track starts from the local situation, not from a template.

Ready to bring your infrastructure together?

Start with an IT FinOps audit: four weeks to a signed report with the scope, the waves and the cost. After that you decide whether we migrate. Get in touch for a first conversation.
